2 | lbs. | lean ground beef | |

1/2 | cup | chopped celery | |
|
|||
2 | tablespoons | instant minced onion | |
|
|||
1/4 | cup | chopped parsley | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | sage | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
|||
1/8 | teaspoon | pepper | |
|
|||
1 | cup | Pepperidge Farm Corn Bread Stuffing | |

1/4 | cup | plain yogurt or sour cream | |
|
|||
1 | egg, beaten | ||
|
Thaw pastry 20 minutes, then unfold sheets. Cut each sheet into 4 squares. In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly mix beef, celery, onion, parsley, sage, salt, pepper and stuffing. Stir in yogurt or sour cream until mixture is bound together. Shape mixture into 8 generous size meat patties. Broil patties on each side for 3-4 minutes or until brown. Cool. Drain on paper towels. On a lightly floured board, roll out each square of pastry about 1 1/2 inches larger than meat patties. Set the patties in center of square and fold pastry over meat, sealing edges in the center. Place seam side down on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg. Bake in preheated oven ( 400 F. ) for 20 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
